Product Roadmap
See what I'm working on and what's coming next. Garden Sketchbook is actively developed with new features and improvements added regularly.
Currently Working On
Improved Mobile Experience
In ProgressFull Garden Sketchbook functionality on mobile devices. Switch between the plant library, 2D design canvas, and 3D visualization using tabbed navigation.
Custom Measurements & Shapes
In ProgressDraw rectangles, polygons, and lines directly on your design to define bed boundaries, map existing features like patios and trees, and plan irregular planting areas.
Enhanced Plant Artwork
In ProgressUpdated hand-drawn illustrations with improved detail and accuracy. Add images to art library to cover more plants with unique shapes that don't fit neatly into other categories, like irises and dahlias.
Planned Features
Garden Templates
PlannedStart with pre-designed garden layouts for common scenarios: shade gardens, pollinator gardens, cutting gardens, and more.
Import Garden Photos
PlannedUpload photos of your existing garden and use them as a background reference while designing.
AI-Powered Plant Suggestions
PlannedPick your favorite plants first, then let AI fill in the gaps with recommended plants that grow well in your conditions.
A note about this roadmap: These are features I'm excited to build (and use myself!), but Garden Sketchbook is currently a one-person dev team. Target dates are my best estimates and may shift as development progresses.
Your feedback matters! If there's a feature you're excited about or would find especially useful, let me know. User input helps prioritize what gets built next.
